Clare Croft est écrivain, historienne et théoricienne de la danse, et parfois dramaturge et curatrice. Elle est l’auteur de « Her Disruptions : Jill Johnston in Motion » et de « The Essential Jill Johnston Reader », tous deux à paraître chez Duke University Press en octobre 2024. Elle est également rédactrice en chef de « Queer Dance : Meanings and Makings », fondatrice et commissaire du festival de danse queer EXPLODE, et auteure de « Dancers as Diplomats : American Choreography in Cultural Exchange ». Elle est professeur associé de culture américaine à l’université du Michigan (États-Unis).

Clare Croft is a writer, a dance historian and theorist, and sometimes a dramaturg and curator. She is the author of Her Disruptions: Jill Johnston in Motion and the editor of The Essential Jill Johnston Reader, both forthcoming from Duke University Press in October 2024. She is also the editor of Queer Dance: Meanings and Makings, the founder and curator of the EXPLODE queer dance festival, and the author of Dancers as Diplomats: American Choreography in Cultural Exchange. She is Associate Professor of American Culture at the University of Michigan (US).
